Job Summary

Educational and Developmental Therapies, Inc. trains its staff in Applied Behavior Analytic methods such as Verbal Behavior, Generative Programming and a variety of instructional methodologies including Natural Environment Training, Direct Instruction, Discrete Trial Training, and Precision Teaching. Staff are required to work independently and effectively with children in their home and community settings.

General Duties Include

Work with children in their homes and clinical settings
Ensure client safety and confidentiality
Provide systematic direct instruction and therapeutic programming to assigned learners.
Collect and chart trial-by-trial and session data
Maintain/update learner binder forms and documents
Follow Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) educational and therapeutic guidelines, best and evidence-based educational and therapeutic practices
Adhere to all written and standardized educational and therapeutic protocol
Assist in the preparation of educational and therapeutic sections of Assessment/ Observation Reports.
Assist in the preparation of reports.
Qualifications and Skills

Prefferred BA/BS diploma or higher degree as required by funding agency in psychology, education or related field with a special emphasis in Behavior Analysis.
Minimum high-school degree or equivalent.
Experience working with developmentally challenged individuals is desired but not necessary.
Comply with the regulations and guidelines with California Department of Education and/or Development Disability Service and/or Department of Health Services.
Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and valid driver's license required
Clearance of Department of Justice background check (reimbursed)
Recent TB test (reimbursed)
Availability at least 3 days/week in the afternoon from 3 pm to 7 pm, working between 15-20 hrs/week.

BCaBA and BCBA supervision hours provided at no extra cost.

To keep our therapists safe we are currently providing some services and training via telehealth. For any in person services, PPE will be provided and families are expected to wear PPE and report any symptoms of illness.
