Bartender
Makai Brewing Company of Ocean Isle Beach, NC is an award-winning brewery and taproom looking for an outgoing individual who is passionate about local craft beer. Qualified candidates will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a great experience with our brewery, taproom and our beer. We are looking for a brand ambassador and someone who is willing to grow as we grow. We are entering our busy season, so we are looking for part-time candidates who have a flexible schedule and are true craft beer fans.
Qualifications:
• Must be 21 years of age or older with reliable transportation and a solid work ethic
• Experience and knowledge of craft beer preferred
• Be able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays on a regular set schedule
• Demonstrate ability to perform detailed tasks and handle customer demands under pressure
• Be able to stand for long periods of time, stay busy during downtime and lift up to 50 lbs
• Must pass a background check
Job responsibilities include:
• Greeting all guests with a friendly smile and attitude - positively engage with customers
• Working in a busy environment while maintaining a friendly disposition
• Performing cash handling procedures quickly and accurately
• Properly educating guests on the current beer menu, upcoming events and brewery history
• Helping maintain the cleanliness of all work and guest areas
• Completing opening and closing procedures independently
