Little Munchkins is a specialized behavioral therapy center for children and their families to receive play-based Therapy services and Applied Behavioral Analysis. We are committed to meeting every child where they are developmentally. Our mission is to help all of the Little Munchkins children learn and grow using an individualized approach to treatment.

Lead ABA Therapist Job DescriptionResponsibilities

  • Provide ABA and behavioral therapy with individuals in their home and/or community setting(s).
  • Teach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through ABA principles.
  • Implement Behavior Plans and accurately document data collection.
  • Engage in and ensure client safety.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all clients and professional conduct at all times.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education / Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Preferred: Pursuing a BA/BS degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience working with children with autism/special needs
  • Must be available afternoons, evenings, and some Saturdays.
  • Must be able to pass background/fingerprint clearance, health screenings and provide/obtain immunizations.
  • Reliable transportation, proof of valid California driver's license, good driving record, proper auto insurance, and vehicle registration.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 4-hour shift
  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Saturday mandatory 

COVID-19 considerations:

Health checks will be done at the door families and staff will be required to attest that they are asymptomatic, others in their family are asymptomatic, and we will be doing temperature checks We will be limited to one one-on-one session, in a private room.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (Required)
