Tax Internship
Greenstein, Rogoff, Olsen & Co., LLP (GROCO.com), is a full service Certified Public Accounting and family office firm with employees in Kansas and 5 other states. We are currently seeking a Tax Preparation Intern. Compensation ranges from $24 to $30/hour plus overtime.
This is a Full Time position for approximately 3 months. However, when full-time permanent positions become available, we often look first to previous interns to fill these positions. The training alone makes this is an exceptional career opportunity!

Responsibilities will eventually include:
-Prepare federal and state income tax returns
-Organize and prepare work papers for tax returns
-Perform tax research and learn tax laws
-Work effectively with staff on assigned projects
-Demonstrate ability to perform responsibilities timely and effectively
-Exhibit a professional, cooperative attitude in working with individuals
Qualifications / Requirements:
-Above average proficiency in Excel and Word.
-Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills in working with staff and clients.
-Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles and business.
-Self-starter, dependable, works well on a team.
-Ability to work independently
-Analytical and problem solving skills
-Excellent written and verbal communications skills
-Experience preparing tax returns (preferred)
