Social Media & Marketing Internship
Location: Remote (Must be NYC/NJ-based for occasional in-person meetings)
Commitment: 2 hours/day, 3 days/week (flexible schedule)

About Michaels HR Consulting:
Michaels HR Consulting is a boutique HR firm that partners with small businesses and mission-driven organizations to deliver people-centered, compliant HR solutions. We’re currently seeking a creative, driven Social Media & Marketing Intern to work directly with the Founder/CEO in building brand awareness, driving website traffic, and managing our online presence—primarily through LinkedIn and Instagram.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support daily social media activity across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Collaborate on content planning and scheduling using brand-aligned content pillars (educational, motivational, promotional, etc.)
  • Draft and post engaging content that aligns with our voice and mission
  • Monitor social media performance, track engagement, and provide analytics reports
  • Respond to comments and DMs and help identify influencers and industry partners
  • Participate in brainstorming and executing creative marketing campaigns
  • Stay updated on industry trends and provide insight into content strategy improvements

What You Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a school program related to marketing, communications, design, or media
  • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Excellent writing and visual content instincts (bonus if you have Canva or editing skills)
  • Interest in human resources, small business, or consulting is a plus—but not required
  • Self-starter mindset with excellent time management skills
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
