We are looking for a social media specialist intern in the Minneapolis - St. Paul metro area with a minimum of 2 years of social media marketing experience. The ideal candidate knows his or her way around Facebook and LinkedIn, is able to write well, and has experience marketing to technical audiences. The Marketing Social Media Specialist will work with marketing, sales, client services, human resources, and Redpath leadership to execute Redpath’s social media marketing strategy. The social media specialist will participate in marketing, communications and sales enablement social media relationship strategy and tactical execution. The role will be responsible for managing Redpath’s social media initiatives and analytics. This role is responsible for finding the Facebook and LinkedIn groups frequented by Redpath’s ideal prospect personas and engaging them. The prospects are to be nurtured and connected to marketing campaigns that generate leads.
This role reports to the VP of Sales and Marketing for Redpath.
Social Media Technology Administration
Own and execute Redpath’s social media execution with Facebook and LinkedIn.
Maintain and update Redpath website connection to Facebook and LinkedIn.
Assist Redpath sales team with social media strategies and relationship building.
Manage Redpath social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
Integrate Redpath social media accounts with the Redpath Pardot system for campaign interactions and analytics.
Work closely with Redpath Human Resources to utilize social media for employee engagement and community involvement.
Communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Pursuing Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Business.
One year of social media marketing experience, preferably in a technical industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including subject matter experts, end users, team members, managers, and executives.
Experience administering and reporting metrics for Facebook and LinkedIn accounts and Groups
Experience with Marketing Automation systems
Demonstrated knowledge of content calendar creation
