About Apropo:
Apropo is an international multi-label sales showroom operating out of the Nomad District of New York City. Directed by the visionary founders, Uri & Alessandra Alter, the showroom shares a common thread of devotion to world of art and commerce. Representing, not only established international labels, we also strive to find the best emerging designers while covering all designer market segments: womenswear, menswear, accessories, footwear and home. While Apropo manages the organizational expansion of the brands as a whole, we also give them access to the most important stores in the industry.

About the Internship: Sales
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparing collections for market
• Designing line sheets and flyers
• Merchandising samples
• Hospitality
• Sample Sale
• Processing orders
• Updating contact lists
• Inventory maintenance
• Answering phones
• Customer service

• Uploading garments on showroom website

Requirements:
Applicants must have prior experience with Word and Excel (knowledge of Photoshop a plus), Possess excellent telephone etiquette, Have strong communication and time management skills and must be able to multitask. Interns must be available at least 3-5 days from approximately 9-5.

This is an unpaid position. Candidates will receive college credit only. This is not a remote position.
