Summary: Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The Recruiting Intern will learn recruiting and interviewing process while supporting the recruiters in the candidate recruitment process. Individuals in this role will take on any special projects or tasks as assigned.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as needed):
• Learn how to maintain an active candidate pipeline in various job families and create job ads and descriptions.
• Gain experience reviewing incoming candidates and sourcing candidates by utilizing a variety of search methods (i.e. internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, organizations, referrals etc.).
• Practice initial review/screen of candidate information to identify qualified candidates and select for recruiter review.
• Observe experienced Recruiters conduct initial phone screen and interview scheduling of candidates for recruiters.
• Support recruiters by helping to maintain candidate status in applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Assist in administering specified technical/function tests to potential candidate preparation.
• Help maintain office files in an organized manner and periodically purge files.
• Learn and practice business contract negations, employee onboarding, Human Resources policies and procedures.

Education/Experience:
Progressing toward completion of Bachelor's degree (B. A./B.S.) from four-year college or university in Business or related degree preferred.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of M.S. Word, Outlook and Excel; must ensure all candidate communication is documented within JobDiva (ATS) regarding candidate phone calls, interviews, emails, etc.

Employee may need to be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force, or a negligible amount of force, to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or move objects. Close visual acuity (with or without corrective glasses) is needed to analyze or prepare data, review data, view a computer terminal, read written communications, inspect/operate machinery and use measurement devices at close distances.
