Job SummaryThe Program Director works alongside the franchise owner (Area Developer) to Help Kids Succeed in Life Through Sports! The Program Director manages the day-to-day operation of the local sports franchise including marketing, hiring and training employees, volunteer coach recruitment, oversight of game-day operations, and customer service. In their role, the Program Director ensures the highest level of brand standards are executed and core concepts are continuously demonstrated. Responsibilities • Oversee assist in the creation and execution of a business marketing plan • Hire, train and manage all part-time staff members and volunteer coaches • Ensure all sports programs are updated and posted to the website to facilitate customer registrations • Create and sustain a premier customer experience for each program and ensure all staff are champions of customer service • Plan, coordinate and manage all aspects of operating leagues for franchise territory to include, but not limited to: • Equipment/supply ordering • Building team rosters, creating schedules, communicating to coaches and customers • Managing Directors of Operations and other staff • Managing volunteer coaches • Oversee the daily operations of youth sports leagues, camps and clinics • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills • Other duties as required Qualifications • Excellent communication & organization skills • Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently & solve problems • Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players • Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships • Ability to work a varied work schedule including some nights and weekends • Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check Measures of Success • Meeting and exceeding new member, registration and revenue goals • Increasing customer satisfaction as measured by Net Promoter Score • Customer Renewal Rate • Position within the Network Scorecard • Meeting Deadlines • Quality of staff hired and retained Flexible work from home options available.
