To note, we are looking for a student of University of the Pacific (in Stockton, CA) specifically to fill this role. 

We’re looking for someone who wants to learn product marketing in the University channel with a high growth start up. This is an unpaid Product Marketing Intern position. 

Role Responsiblities

  • Market Research
    • Collect data on the target demographic (college students) 
      • What are their habits, when do they eat, what do they look for in what they eat, etc
    • Synthesize insights and provide recommendations on how to best reach college students with our product
    • Figure out what our product value proposition is amongst college students
    • Conduct on the ground user feedback
      • Example: what varieties do people enjoy, what are we missing, etc
    • Be our eyes and ears on the ground: tell us when stores on campus are sold out
  • Connection
    • Learn more about a start up food business through 2 monthly 30-minute check in GoogleMeet calls with a Rise & Puff team member. Use this time as a check-in and also to ask questions that have piqued your curiosity about the business world.

  • Unpaid part-time internship that gives great start up experience
  • Flexible hours


For the Interview

  • Please go to your campus store and look at our product (Rise & Puff Quesadillas). Assess our product and tell us what you would do differently. Highlight any strengths and weaknesses our product has. You do not need to buy our product, just focus on things like the packaging, pricing, flavor, etc.
