UNPAID INTERNSHIP

Job Summary:
Established and renowned photographer based in Manhattan is seeking a highly organized Photographer and Studio Intern. Working directly with the Photographer on a daily basis, the primary purpose of this role is to aid in studio operations, maintain and implement organization, and aid in general studio assistance.

Manhattan-based celebrity and editorial Photographer with features across a vast collection of worldwide major publications including the New York Times, HuffPost, PEOPLE Magazine, and many more. Studio is located in Midtown Manhattan.

Job Responsibilities:
-Assist Photographer in organizing and overseeing organizational management
-Manage the organization of digital files, ensuring integrity and accessibility for the rest of the team
-Ability to work fast and maintain a consistent high standard
-Clear and consistent communication with Photographer
-Collaborate with team of photographers and stylists to execute creative demands
-Track and report equipment inventory management
-Aid in editorial photoshoots at the direction of the Photographer with lighting, styling, organization, logistics, and planning

Skills Required:
-Must be attending a four-year University majoring in Photography, Business Administration, or related field
-Highly organized and detailed
-Ability to work independently with little supervision, as well as in a group environment
-Creative problem solving, ability to work under pressure, and take initiative
-Good time management skills and the ability to deliver to targets and deadlines
-Regular, dependable attendance, and punctuality
-Knowledge of digital marketing is a big plus

Hours:
Part-time (< 30 hours/week) in person at studio location at Midtown Manhattan studio 4-5 days/week.

Contract Internship:
This is a contract internship and will provide strong industry experience and networking opportunities. Free professional headshots included as well.
