Operations Intern
Our internship role will give you hands-on experience with a premium, sustainable chocolate brand. Your projects will touch on a variety of operational areas: transportation, inventory management, building and cultivating business relationships, and most importantly, communication. This is an IN-PERSON position with remote day options (20 - 35hr work week), eligible to candidates within the US. Fill and keep a record of all Sample Requests from the sales and marketing team.
o Request large quantity sample shipments from the warehouse.
o Pack and ship small quantity sample shipments.
? Maintain and organize office sample inventory.
? Respond to general Customer Inquiries, such as delivery updates and BOL requests, in a
timely manner.
? Correspond with the warehouse and transportation team as needed.
? Process weekly Amazon Vendor orders.
? Coordinate the planning of Trade Shows and show material shipments.
? Quality Control: Responsible for inspecting product labels and sampling for flaws.
? Verify warehouse receiving reports with delivery notes.
? Occasionally travel to the warehouse for physical inventory count.
? Retrieve and manage incoming office shipments.
? Additional general office & operations related tasks as assigned.
? Learn NetSuite usage to manage inventory inquires
Essential skills, Qualifications & Attributes:
? Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet specific goals and
deadlines.
? Experience working in a fast-paced business with frequent and rapid priority
changes.
? MS Office applications - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word.
