Marketing and Admissions Project Intern

Part-time Internship

Primary job responsibilities are to support the Marketing and Admissions departments with specific projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

Support Marketing and Admissions departments with day-to-day responsibilities of running those departments.
Assist with school-wide communications like newsletters and updates
Assist with management of school social media sites including, but not limited to:
Competitor research
Creating and meeting new social media goals
Expanding social media reach
Help to track and analyze social media metrics
Regularly review and update, as needed, sites such at Google My Business, Great Schools, Niche, Yelp, Glassdoor, etc
Manage Admissions events responses and provide support for the creation and running of events
Assist with preparing, printing, assembling, distributing Admissions materials as needed
Admissions and Marketing research as assigned
Perform other job requirements as assigned
Required Skills:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and other creative suite programs.
Knowledge and experience using Social Media platforms for business.
Willingness to learn and promote SELA�s Mission and Vision.
An ideal candidate must have:

Strong coordination, planning, and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills.
High level of interpersonal skills.
Credible and professional, yet approachable and welcoming demeanor.
Able to learn quickly and to disseminate detailed information simply and accurately using SELA�s brand and tone.
Flexible and adaptable to change.
Job qualifications:

Applicants should be in their junior or senior year of college or graduate program pursuing a degree in marketing or communication (or a similar field).
Entry-level experience.
Interns must be available to work on-site a minimum of 15 hours per week during the academic semester with a minimum 3-month commitment.
All paperwork for the college must be handled by the intern.
Compensation:

This is an unpaid position.
There is opportunity for school credit if appropriate
Decisions will be made by December 10th. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
