Market Research Intern-Fall 2020
The Market Research Intern will assist the Sales department by researching and analyzing data related to the current business at Marquardt Switches
Essential Responsibilities:
Determine who the Company’s competitors are by researching externally and internally
Research information about products supplied, key customers, purchased components, etc. to create competitor profiles
Create presentations to present to upper management using research from competitive analysis
Other duties as assigned by manager
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and working towards an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business or related
degree program
Minimum of 3.5 GPA
Highly skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint
Experience with Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, Outlook
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit for extended periods
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to use close vision, color vision, and depth perception for extended periods
