Ovivo is currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team in Round Rock, TX.

The intern will work closely with more experienced engineers and interface with many departments, including Product Support, Engineering, and Project Management. They will be assigned to the design and implementation of the new manufacturing facility project in Hutto, Texas. Specific tasking is an integral component of the internship experience and is consistent with the relevant needs of the assigned project.

You will use your expertise to:

� Provide technical and project support to the new manufacturing plant planning team.
� Support with plant manufacturing process planning and quality management system planning, e.g.,
through research and evaluation of methods, tools, software, and creation of required quality
documentation.
� Perform evaluations and feasibility studies related to manufacturing steps and provide tooling, space,
and labor estimates.
� Design and suggest assembly methods for new workplaces/work cells, support the procurement and
setup of tooling, fixtures, and equipment for these new work cells to meet safety, quality, and
productivity goals.
� Assist Engineering team with Identifying, justifying, and implementing capital equipment projects.
� Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
� Other duties may be assigned as required.

We would like to review your application if you have the following Minimum Qualifications:

� Enrolled as a full-time student locally, junior year status, working to obtain a bachelor's degree in
Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university.
� Knowledge of drafting standards for structural and mechanical design.
� Working Knowledge of 3D Modeling (or ACAD) software for Mechanical and Industrial Engineering
students and working knowledge of PLC programming software for Electrical Engineering students.
� Ability to read engineering drawings.
� Highly developed mathematical skills.
� Good communication skills.
� A desire to work hard.
� MS Office skills.
� Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex industry-related documents.
� Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints.
� Ability to take understand English at an advanced level via written and verbal communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

� Any manufacturing experience or previous co-op/internship experience preferred.
� Basic knowledge of SHE, Quality, and Lean practices related to manufacturing process planning and
design for manufacturing.
� Previous, proven customer service experience.
� Open to sharing ideas and just as open to receiving direct feedback

Where you will be working, your work schedule, and other important information:

As an engineering intern at Ovivo USA, you are not eligible for benefits but will have a flexible schedule. This position is not a summer internship, for this reason, we are looking for those in their junior year. Ovivo is very flexible with work and wants to see an average of 15 hours per week during the school year, which may mean no hours during a finals week and more hours on other weeks, based on the needs of the student. Ovivo considers all engineering interns for permanent hire upon graduation.
