INTERN JOB DESCRIPTION
Barcami Lane, Inc. seeks a college-level individual who wants to apply their critical thinking and analytical skills within a growing small business. Interest in association management, nonprofits, business administration, event planning, marketing, and communications, are a plus.
Desire a candidate to be in the Westford, MA office an estimate of 10-15 hours per week.
Areas you will apply your skills in, but not limited to, include:
Customer Service
• Answer incoming telephone calls and transfer to the appropriate person.
Communications and Website
• Post content, news stories, blog posts, and photos to client websites.
• Create and edit miscellaneous documents in Word and presentations in PowerPoint.
• Create and edit event advertisements in Canva, Illustrator or similar software, as needed.
Event Support
• Create name badges for event attendees using the mail merge function in Microsoft Word.
• Insert name badges into holders and add appropriate ribbons, pins, buttons, etc. Assemble meeting folders and packets with printed materials.
• Assist with packing materials and supplies for meetings and events.
• May edit surveys and evaluations in Survey Monkey, or similar platforms.
Office Administration and Mail Room
• Prepare letters, notices, and invoices using the mail merge function in Microsoft Word.
• Fold letters, stuff envelopes, and apply postage using a postage machine.
• Sort and distribute company mail daily, including scanning and filing, document management. Inventory off-site and in-house storage.
Other
• Provide additional general office support, as required.
Salary
• Barcami Lane Internships are paid - $15.00/hour.
