Care4all Services is Licensed by the State of GA to provide Home Placements and Social Services to Children in Foster Care. The agency is currently seeking interns or volunteers for ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES at its Gwinnett (Lawrenceville) Location. Whereas this is NOT a paid position, applicants earn school credits and learn valuable skills in Social Work. Interns receive FREE Trainings in most of the following courses recommended by the GA. Dept. of Human Services for Social Work Personnel.

1. Overview of Foster Care and the Adoption Process
2. Impact of Trauma on Childhood Development
3. Separation, Grief and Loss
4. Serious Emotional Disturbances
5. Creating a Safe Environment for the Sexually Abused Child
6. Behavior Management Techniques
7. Trans-cultural Parenting
8. Merging Family Systems
9. Verbal De-escalation Techniques
10. CPR/First Aid (if necessary)
11. Understanding Trauma
12. Discipline with Care, etc.

This opportunity is ideal as a college-credit program for students in Social Work or the Clerical field and anyone willing to volunteer and improve their resume.
