Photographer/Video/Graphic Artist INTERNSHIP (Glendale, CA)
Do you have experience in social media marketing, photography, press outreach or advertising? You do not have to be well versed in all of these facets. Where your expertise and passion lies will be the focus as we split the responsibilities among our staff. We are looking for someone with good writing skills to assist preparing newsletters through Mailchimp, creating product catalogs (Powerpoint), photography/videos/reels/ social media engagement/office related work and reaching out to the media and press with releases about our unique company story and one-of-a-kind spa industry products for coverage. You will be trained to network, create content and also assist with the engagement of our social media platforms. We are in the midst of creating new content and videos to support these efforts.
You will be involved in assisting in strategy research, writing press releases, press outreach, support and assist with marketing and advertising campaigns. We need someone with high end taste and fine eye to detail.
Must have own laptop, eye for design and have strong writing skills -- especially editing and advertising. Graphic artist skills and background are a plus but not necessary as we have an in house lead graphic artist. Must be creative, highly motivated, positive attitude, professional, team worker and have passion to learn the ins and outs.
We will guide you and direct you but you will be offered a lot of creative freedom so this is a plus if you want to build a portfolio that stands out and have direct input of the creative content.
This is a paid internship, ideally for resume building (portfolio of projects worked on). Hours are flexible -- onsite work primarily in Glendale. The projects you will be assigned will challenge you weekly but will also bring to the surface your best creative talents. You will learn in the process a lot about test marketing/advertising as well and how photography and graphics play into the process of sales, and social media engagement.
