Summary: The main function of this position is to assist the Certification Supervisor. Duties may include providing administrative support to process exam applications and results, coordinate exam schedules, facilitate the validation and test writing process, and/or maintain files following written and oral instructions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Maintain schedule of activities, while reporting to and coordinating with the Certification Supervisor.
• Processes exam applications and renewals, and document applicant, candidate, and certificant account activity in the database.
• Process exam results, entering the results into the database, issuing certification documentation and pass / fail letters, as appropriate.
• Maintains certification files in accordance with all statutory and internal requirements.
• Assists with the assignment of work to volunteer certification Administrators.
• Maintains active proctor list, training records and proctor certificates (2 year cycles).
• Updates policies and procedures for department, including proctor and candidate handbooks, policies as updated and developed by committees and the Certification Board.
• May serve as an Exam Monitor Proctor for certification exams as needed.
• Assists with the coordination and scheduling of program validation studies between committees, internal staff and consultants.
• Upholds and abides by certification policies, and ensures that these policies are followed by committees, volunteers, proctors, staff, etc.
• Provides certification content to the Marketing Department to be used in conjunction with marketing efforts.
• Generates certification reports.
• Provides support to education and events activities throughout the year.
• Provides support to membership drive initiatives and helps members get the most from their memberships.
• Responds to routine phone calls, emails etc. from the public that are requesting certification program information.
• May travel a few times per year.

Education and/or Experience
• Graduated high school or completed G.E.D.
• 2 years of related experience and/or training •Hybrid remote in Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 • 4 hour shift Monday to Friday
• $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
