Marketing Intern- Front Desk Job Description

Department: Sales/Marketing

Job Summary: The marketing intern will be responsible for supporting Baxter of California and Baxter Finley Barber & Shop customer experience by providing superior service to all customers along with growing the shop and brands footprint in the digital world.

Key Job Accountabilities/Requirements
� Work directly with customers to manage customer satisfaction and overall customer experience
� Learn, understand and embrace the Baxter of California/Baxter Finley Barber & Shop Brand and values along with the full line of Baxter of California products as well as how to use and what to recommend to guests
� Greet guests, answer phones, book, check-in/out guests along with providing customer service for retail at the Baxter Finley Barber & Shop
� Maintain Daily Shop Duties including but not limited to the aesthetics of the shop, laundry and cleaning
� In collaboration with the Shop Manger and Brand Manager, assist in/create promotional events at the shop, including but not limited to, new product launches, product display, employee contests and increasing sales of product sold at the shop
� In collaboration with the Shop Manager and Brand Manager, assist in/create special events, pop-ups, collaborations, etc
� Assist in social media management for the shop, including posts, photos, videos, live events along with the ability to report analytics
� Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails and other marketing collateral for the shop
� Work with the Shop Manager, Assistant Manager and other front desk employees to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals
� Take part in formal and informal training opportunities, including attending marketing brainstorming sessions
� Measure and report the results of marketing initiatives

Qualifications/Skills
� Able to work flexible days and hours, including nights and weekends
� Reliable, dependable, punctual and able to maintain weekly schedule
� Applied understanding of basic marketing principals
� Familiarity with Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, etc)
� Comfortable with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
� Excellent verbal and written communication skills
� Understanding of SEO techniques and best practices
� Basic photography, video and image editing, graphic design skills and PowerPoint
� Bachelor�s degree or working towards a bachelor�s degree in marketing or similar course of studies
