EVENT INTERNS | LOS ANGELES OFFICE

ABOUT THE POSITION:
Stoelt Productions is looking for passionate, hard-working and motivated event interns to support our company in the office and onsite at events. Event interns will work closely with the lead producer and event coordinators of the company, as well as provide support for our high-profile clients. This is an excellent opportunity for current students and recent graduates who are interested in event production to gain exposure and hands-on experience, with seeing a large-scale event unfold from start to finish. Our company is a crew of driven individuals passionate about what we do with the ability to work hard and have fun.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
+ Assist with event pre-production
+ Sourcing and procurement of needed production elements
+ Assist event coordinator(s) in compiling needed materials for client presentations
+ Assist on site during event days
+ Conduct research for event and company needs
+ Administrative office support (answer calls, filing, database management, etc.)
+ Industry and trade research (calendar updates and trend forecasting)
+ Update company and staff calendar
+ Archive all press clippings and web features
+ Assemble company marketing materials
+ Assist with maintenance and updates on company web presence
+ Run errands pertaining to company needs
+ Provide support to company staff members when needed
+ Experience in Squarespace, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs
Compensation: College credit. Interns will be reimbursed for mileage on event days.
Start date: Immediately
ABOUT YOU:
Ideal candidates should possess an interest in event production, design, upcoming trends, and marketing. Creativity, innovative thinking, and a self-starter attitude are encouraged. Candidates must have the ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and interact with the utmost professionalism with all personnel on site. Organization, an eye for detail, an ability to think on your feet, and excellent oral and written communication skills are a must. We will need someone who can commit to at least 2-3 days a week in the office. Hours are flexible.
