Content Strategy/Social Media Intern - Summer 2023
We are looking for an energetic, ambitious, and self-motivated intern to join our chic and growing wellness brand this summer! We are intentionally seeking a savvy social media content creator looking to kickstart their experience in the real market. Ideal candidates are innovative, have a clear vision of the “edible editorial” aesthetic, and are excited to learn the visual steps it takes to capture the fresh, fun, healthy, and feminine voices that represent our brand. Our fast paced internship allows flexibility and the perfect platform to test creativity to ultimately unlock the artistic identity.
About the Job
Unearth Goodness’s new home will be The Hatchery in West Town as well as Boxville in Bronzeville. With our new expansion, we need to support our growth by enhancing our online and social media platforms! Day-to-day (and hour-to-hour) responsibilities may span from creating and managing organic media campaigns, conducting social media research, discovering relative influencers, and drafting content in real time to working directly with the Founder and Co-Founder to shadow day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
Digital Marketing, Marketing, or Content Strategy Student
General experience using and creating in the major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter TikTok)
A strong passion and skill for fun fresh feminine content creation
Ability to take constructive feedback on marketing content/campaigns proposals
A minimum requirement of 75 total hours for the program (estimated 10 hours per week / 2-3 days per week)
Iphone required
Reliable transport- as we will be operating out of 2-3 locations and working events throughout the city but primarily at the Hatchery and Boxville
Responsibilities
The Social Media & Content Creator internship focuses on creating and generating fun, innovative, content curation and organic creation, as a means of preparing students for prospective fields in Marketing, Ads, and Social Media management
Analyze social media trends weekly
Be the lens and voice of this fresh new women led wellness brand
Attend Unearth Goodness events to capture live social activities
Practice knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
Creating unique short and effective video content to drive brand awareness on all social media platforms
Engage Unearth Goodness community across all social media platforms

Compensation
$15/hr 10 hours a week
