Construction Project Intern

Interlaken, Inc is a Site and Utility Excavation firm seeking a current or recent college graduate to join our team as a Construction Project Intern. This position has the opportunity to lead to a permanent hire. Our office is located in West Gresham, with projects throughout the greater Portland/Metro area. Projects range in size from 100K to 10M and include a range of civil construction project types. We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude and excellent organizational skills. Someone that values a team effort, who is a self starter, and is willing to go the extra mile to achieve success!

Job Duties:

There are a variety of tasks you would be completing daily, here are a few of them to give you an idea of what the position requires:

• Maintain bid calendar
• Prepare bid documents
• Solicit multiple quotes per trade from different subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring their quotes include entire scope of work
• Material Take Offs
• Assist with project buy out
• Submittal, Change Order, RFI, Subcontract tracking
• Job file creation and maintenance
• Input bid and project information into various software programs
• Distribute project related materials to proper field personnel
• Attend project site meetings, take notes, and report information back to team
• Assist staff with other project related tasks
