COLLEGE CREDIT INTERNSHIP:

Based in NYC, CLIO ART FAIR is an art management company whose mission is to support contemporary artists and journalists, to organize art and media events and to manage art-related projects.



The PR Social Media Communication Manager is a part-time internship working on remote.


This position will report directly to Clio Art Fair's Senior Director of Marketing Communications


Responsibilities:

Pro-actively develop storylines and identify news angles that are relevant to Clio Art Fair’s position on key issues and topics


Consistently engage with U.S. media, Art Critic, Art Curators, Collectors, and Artists.


Pitching stories, and generating story ideas.


Create, implement and execute against a full social media calendar that is built around organically created content, and maximize existing content such as Clio Art Fair news, events and programs.


Plan all aspects of social media campaigns, podcasts, events promotion and other campaign event needs.


Qualifications

At least 1 year of current professional experience in the Media Relations/Social Media field.


Experience with specific social media tools including, but not limited to, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram


Strong communication skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal


Highly organized and detail-oriented


Flexible and able to work on multiple projects concurrently


Talented Writer: Able to draft case study narrative, thought leadership articles, press releases, teasers for speaking opportunities, and awards applications


Due Diligence: Avid proof-reader
