We’re an early-stage startup out of Stanford University building software to help match job-seekers and career changers with teams based on not only their CV and skills but also their personality and team culture fit.

Currently, we’re helping one of our Clients - LingPerfect. It is an internationally recognized company that specializes in localization services, including translation and interpretation in over 200 languages. They’re seeking Business Development Representatives who are ambitious, motivated, and innovative to join their team.

The position involves working closely with Sales Operations and Management to increase business leads and opportunities. This is a six-month paid internship program that offers commission-only pay. Successful interns may be offered a full-time position with a salary plus commission or bonus. Joining Business Development Representative team as an intern allows you to be a critical component of LingPerfect's growth plan, and gain valuable experience in the field of sales and business development. Successful candidates will have the chance to learn and grow within the industry, and may be granted a full-time position with a competitive salary and commission or bonus structure at the end of the 6-month program. Additionally, our interns will have the chance to work closely with Sales Operations and Sales Management, gaining valuable experience in lead generation and outreach strategies.

The responsibilities of this role include:

-Educating potential clients about the company's solutions and their benefits through cold calls, email, -LinkedIn, and other social platforms
-Taking the initiative to work with Sales Operations to develop new outreach strategies to generate leads
-Scheduling and attending meetings with potential clients, and coordinating introductions and follow-ups
-Actively engaging with prospects to create new leads and opportunities, and providing innovative lead-generation ideas to internal teams
-Keeping the CRM up-to-date with current leads and follow-ups -Identifying opportunities and taking action to win business while prioritizing activities toward driving pipeline growth
-Collaborating fully with the sales team, and supporting and leveraging marketing and other lead-generation efforts
-Monitoring and measuring success criteria, and staying up-to-date with LingPerfect processes
-Effectively communicating project specifications to Production Teams Representing our company at conferences and developing high-level strategic relationships within target accounts and industries
-Being a creative thinker who is unafraid to ask questions, a hard worker who is diligent in everything they do, and an innovator who is willing to initiate changes and introduce new ideas.



Qualifications:

-The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or university.
-Candidates with 0-1+ years of sales and/or account management experience are encouraged to apply.
-Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-through, and strategic skills are a must-have for this position.
-The ability to confidently and assertively conduct business over the phone is a requirement.
-The candidate should be well-organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills that allow them to function effectively as part of a team.
-Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are required.
-The candidate should be familiar with and able to communicate the value, competitive advantages, and differentiators of our services.
-Competency in standard productivity tools and familiarity with CRM solutions, particularly S------------, is preferred.
-Effective time and personal productivity management skills are a must-have.
-The ideal candidate should possess superior analytical skills, integrity, ambition, and vision.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and GSuite is preferred.
This position may require travel as needed.
