About Lugbill Designs

Lugbill Designs is a residential design/build firm serving the greater Chicagoland area. We specialize in design/remodel projects, with a focus on whole home renovations. We also offer design consulting, accessorizing, furniture curation, and more. We love what we do. The transformations we’re able to help facilitate make a big impact on the everyday lives of those we work with.

Our clients love us for our personable, flexible approach to design and remodeling. In our engagements, we play point for clients, designing the space, sourcing materials and contractors, then managing the implementation of our vision from start to finish.

Job Summary

We’re looking for an up-and-coming design professional who isn’t afraid to work in a fast-paced environment and get their hands dirty. The ideal candidate will be in their final year of design school, looking to jump start their career for a top Chicago design firm. The hire will begin working 15-20 hours/week, ramping up to full time (40 hours) starting in May or June of 2022.

This position will require you to pivot from the office, to in-home client meetings, errands, and construction sites. No two days look alike.

You will be a key contributor. You’ll assist fellow team members, create and implement designs, help keep projects on track, and cultivate client relationships.

We’re a small company with plenty of opportunity to learn the skills you need to advance your career. You will contribute across a wide-variety of projects and disciplines, and receive personalized training and coaching from the talented team.

We’re looking for someone who is as committed to LD as we are to them. We’re devoted to taking care of our team-members, and show this by offering a flexible work schedule (including work-from-home), competitive pay, 401k matching, health reimbursements (QSEHRA), product discounts, opportunities for career advancement, and frequent lunches on LD’s dime.
