After Care Instructor

The Aftercare Instructor is responsible for monitoring and facilitating all activities associated with the Aftercare Program.

Hours will Be as follows:

Summer Camp Hours 11am-3pm from June 3rd-July 31st

Regular Preschool Hours needed 2:30pm-5:30pm from Aug 8th-Dec 20th and January 2025-May 2025

Duties

Strives to implement, by instruction and action, the school’s philosophy of education and instructional goals and objectives. Maintains accurate and complete records as required. Works to establish and maintain open lines of communication with students, parents, community, and other school personnel. Actively monitors and ensure the safety and well-being of all students in all areas of the school. Monitors students during snack, play, and homework time. Attends any announced aftercare meetings. Takes reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities. Maintains and cleans assigned locations. Takes attendance as directed by the Aftercare Director. Redirects and facilitates behavioral management issues and reports necessary issues to the Aftercare Director. Upholds and enforces school rules, administrative regulations, and policies. Performs such other related duties as assigned by the principal. 

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age

Hold a minimum of a High School diploma

Effective organization and communication skills

Ability to work cooperatively with others

Nice To Haves

Ability to be on one’s feet and move freely about for a least 5 hours.

Ability to run, jump, stoop, and bend.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Ability to monitor outdoor activities.
