We specialize in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA Therapy) for children with Autism and / or other developmental needs. Description of the Role

Behavior Technicians implement ABA therapy programs in home, center, community, and school settings. Behavior Technicians will complete a paid ABA therapy training program, including ABA fundamentals, role play, shadow sessions and more prior to starting clinical cases. Behavior Technicians will report to a Case Manager or Clinical Supervisor. This position is hourly, exempt, and part-time or full-time.

Responsibilities

Complete the ABA therapy training program, including successfully passing examinations and competency assessments
Provide ABA services for children, teens, and young adults and their families
Maintain HIPAA confidentiality at all times
Adhere to all company policies and procedures and represent the company professionally in all situations
Implement treatment plans and track/collect data against goals
Report client progress to Case Manager and Clinical Supervisor
Arrive on time to all clinical and administrative appointments and meetings
Finish daily clinical notes on time and accurately
Complete ongoing training and attend staff meetings
Requirements

Ability to lift 30 lbs. while assisting patients
Ability to efficiently use a Company iPad for internal communications, data tracking, clinical notes, scheduling, and other applications that may be needed
Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments, including in-home, community, school, and center settings
Ability to work on the floor or in children's chairs with clients
Ability to handle aggressive behaviors and monitor movement of clients to ensure client and provider safety
Passing of TB test, immunizations, and background check
COVID Vaccination may be required in California (with exemptions available for religious beliefs and qualified medical conditions)
Experience and Qualifications

Interest in working with individuals with disabilities
Availability to work at least 15 hours (ideally, weekday availability of 2-8 pm on at least 3 weekdays, and weekend availability of either Saturday or Sunday 8-2 pm)
Reliable means of transportation

We are offering telehealth appointments and for in-person appointments, staff are equipped with PPE. We have established guidelines for staff and family per state and regulatory recommendations.
