Crew Member
Summary
We are searching for motivated, hard-working crew members to join our growing team of air sealing and weatherization crews. The
ideal candidate has some experience working in a construction or home improvement setting and familiar with tools and practices
used for air sealing and installing various weatherization improvements, including exterior door sweeps and weather stripping, attic
stair thermadomes, polyiso rigid board and fiberglass batt insulation, duct sealing and insulation, blower door and combustion safety
testing. We are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated with a positive attitude and is willing to quickly develop familiarity
with home energy efficiency. The candidate must have reliable transportation and willing to travel to job sites in their own vehicle.
Someone with a truck to run materials from the shop to jobs is a plus but not a necessity. Our office is based in Pembroke but
employees can be based anywhere in Massachusetts that the company services through the program.
Qualifications
1 - 5 years experience in home improvement/construction or relevant fieldwork highly preferred.
Familiarity with Mass Save Program practices and guidelines is a plus.
Works well with others and as a part of a team.
Must be reliable and able to be on-time for appointments.
Must be responsive to instruction and training from crew chiefs.
Must be quick on your feet, coordinated, and good with hands, comfortable spending time in and navigating small spaces i.e.
attics and crawlspaces.
Must be independent and able to self-manage and take initiative with or without supervision.
Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and techniques.
Ability to plan and coordinate effectively and efficiently.
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to use your own vehicle for work-related travel, a truck you are willing to use
for additional materials is a plus.
Flexible approach to working hours.
Ability to think critically to overcome problems and challenges under pressure.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
