Warehouse Laborer
Wholesale distributor/manufacturing company looking for a warehouse laborer/forklift operator for our shipping and receiving department. Ideal candidate is a meticulous, motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude who can follow directions closely and work well with others as well as independently. This position is somewhat physically demanding and requires frequent heavy lifting. Most of shift is spent standing/moving.
Job Duties:
- Operate forklift to unload containers and load trucks
- Pick/pack orders
- Build, wrap, load pallets
- Count and document boxes/pieces
- Clean & organize work space and surrounding areas
Inventory:
- Unload containers
- Stock shelves
- Organize, move and count inventory
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, climb and reach throughout complete shift
- Detail-oriented
- Quick and efficient
- Organized
- Fast learner
- Good memory
- Basic math abilities
- Reliable/dependable
- Positive attitude and team player
Preferred but not required:
- Shipping/receiving experience
- Familiar with UPS and/or FedEx shipping software
- Fork lift experience/certified
- Experience with EDI and/or Amazon Vendor Central (guarantees interview)
- Ordertime/Quickbooks
