OCG Companies is a leading provider of restoration construction services, specializing in the utility industry. We have the unique opportunity for an experienced pole inspection supervisor to build out division and team of inspectors. This position has unlimited growth and opportunity. The need for qualified individuals in this sector has created immediate full-time career opportunities. This individual will oversee and lead our Utility Pole Inspection team.

Essential Job Functions within Safety, Quality and Production Responsibilities:

Inspection of telecom infrastructure and be able to record data concisely via iPad data collection.
Record utility pole attachments owners and heights, be able to determine the difference between telephone, cable (coax) fiber optic, and electric service providers.
Supervise pole inspection crew.
Able to follow work orders and finish all assignments.
Safely operate company vehicle. (Company Truck will be provided)
Utilize equipment to dig ground material around utility pole.
Apply wood preservatives to the ground line area of a pole.
Drive steel into the ground to assist with restoration of poles.
Installation of steel trusses for deterioration of wood poles.
Completes all work in an organized, timely manner.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Proven ability to work with various hand tools, including but not limited to shovels, digging bars and drills.
Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
Excellent Organizational Skills.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Ability to work in terrains consisting of rocky, steep, and uneven ground, wetlands, and flat areas.
Physical Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs and ability to comfortably walk at a steady pace throughout the workday.
A valid driver's license is required. Must have a clean Driving Record, free of any major moving violations within the last three years, minimal non-moving violations.
Minimum 6 months experience in Utility Pole Inspection.
Must be able to learn new technology. Must be comfortable using a tablet and/or computer.
