S&R Truck Driving Institute train and prepare drivers for successful careers in the transportation industry. We service our community by guiding our students with in-class and hands on training. From obtain their CDL permit, to pre-trip inspections, and parking maneuvers, we make sure each student is well prepared to test for their commercial driver license.

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Truck Driving Instructor to join our team at S&R Truck Driving Institute. As a Truck Driving Instructor, you will play a key role in training the next generation of professional truck drivers, imparting your expertise and ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and performance.


Responsibilities:

-Conduct classroom and on-road training sessions for students pursuing a career in truck driving.
-Develop and deliver effective instructional materials, including lesson plans and practical exercises.
-Emphasise safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and best practices in commercial truck driving.
-Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their skill development.
-Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and advancements to continuously enhance the training program.
-Collaborate with other instructors and staff to maintain a positive and effective learning environment.

Qualifications:

Must Have a Current and valid CDL and DOT Medical Card
Proven experience in teaching or training, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to safety and a track record of promoting a culture of safety in training environments.
