Program Director
PURPOSE:
Manage community-based supported employment program for developmentally disabled adults.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
� Ensure compliance with Departments of Habilitation and Rehabilitation, Department of Labor and Department of Developmental Services regulations.
� Design and maintain systems which meet CARF accreditation standards.
� Oversee and ensure efficient day-to-day operations of Supported Employment Program.
� Coordinate referral and intake requirements to maximize client census.
� Direct business development activities.
� Develop budget for Supported Employment and manage expenses accordingly.
� Direct human resource functions for Supported Employment staff.
� Participate in Clausen House Management Team meetings and other agency committees.
� Attend community-based committee meetings and workshops.
� Prepare departmental billing and compare against monthly Supported Employment Financial Statement.
� Participate in developing and monitoring clients� Individual Habilitation Component objectives.
� Participate in marketing activities and public relations events.
Required Education and Experience
� Master�s Degree in Rehabilitation, Administration, or related field preferred.
� Experience in managing a Supported Employment Program for developmentally disabled adults.
� Thorough knowledge of CARF standards and participation in at least one CARF survey.
� Familiarity with Habilitation, Rehabilitation, Department of Labor, and DDS regulations.
� Ability to communicate (both written and oral) clearly and concisely in order to reach a broad audience.
� Willingness to be cooperative, flexible, and enthusiastic team player.
� Ability to initiate and follow through on projects while demonstrating sound judgment and creativity.
� Possession of a valid California Drivers License and willingness to use personal vehicle for Clausen House business.
