Job Opportunity: Service Department Office Manager

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Hours: M-F, 7-4pm

Type: Fulltime

Wage: 40-65k Salary depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

As the Service Dept. Office Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our service department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate and efficient data entry to maintain up-to-date records of service requests, orders, and customer information.
  • Providing friendly and professional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions to address inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide updates on service progress.
  • Demonstrating exceptional attention to detail when reviewing and verifying order information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborating closely with the service technicians to prioritize tasks and assignments based on urgency and customer needs.
  • Assisting in the development and improvement of office processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Willingness to learn about our glazing products and services, enabling you to provide informed assistance to customers and relay accurate information to the team.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of glazing (if applicable) to better understand customer needs and provide valuable insights to the team.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
  • Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or office management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and email organization and scheduling.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to dynamic situations.
  • Experience in customer service is highly desirable.
