The Server has an important role of protecting, maintaining and evolving the restaurants culture through adhering, teaching and preserving the integrity of our customer standards. Food and beverage are at the heart of the definition of our culture and business. The Server works closely with the Manager on Duty to ensure that the following key result areas will be successfully achieved:
The Server contributes to the success of the restaurant by serving the Guests within the restaurant. The Server’s responsibility is to serve Guests in a friendly, sincere manner and to do “whatever it takes” to ensure delivery of Rocky Mountain Hospitality.
Server would have the following leadership attributes:
Run food – any food that is up whether it is yours or another team member.
Warmly greet and welcome your Guests.
Effectively merchandise food and beverages in an informative, friendly and enthusiastic manner.
Record orders, place accurate orders and monitor the timing of the dining experience.
Ensure quality food and beverages for your Guests.
Upsell and suggestively sell at every opportunity.
Present accurate bills, collect proper payment and secure payment until you cash out.
Pre-bus and reset tables.
Anticipate and exceed your Guest’s expectations.
Work as a team and use positive communication skills at every opportunity.
Clean, stock, and maintain workstation throughout shift.
Follow all safety and sanitation policies.
Ensure 100% Food Guarantee.
A successful Server for the organization will have the following qualifications:

Has knowledge of basic math skills.
Able to take direction.

Works well with other people in a team environment.
Excellent attendance is required with schedule flexibility determined by business needs.
Must be able to work all shifts when the restaurant is open.
Energetic, outgoing and enthusiastic.
A successful Server for the organization will have the following experience levels:
Prior experience as a Server in a full-service, high-volume restaurant preferred but not required.
Three months successful prior experience as a Busser at the restaurant is required to be considered for a promotion to Server position.
High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Alcohol safety certification.
