Sethi Laboratory is seeking a Office Receptionist/Assistant Office manager , you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of the laboratory office. You will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, creating a positive and professional impression of the laboratory.

Responsibilities:

Greeting and welcoming visitors, clients, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.

Answering phone calls, screening and directing them to the appropriate personnel or department.

Managing the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-maintained.

Maintaining and updating appointment calendars for laboratory staff, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments.

Assisting in the coordination of laboratory projects and initiatives by providing administrative support as needed.

Managing incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.

Maintaining inventory of office supplies and placing orders when necessary.

Assisting with the preparation and distribution of laboratory reports, documents, and correspondence.

Recording and maintaining accurate records of visitors, including sign-in and sign-out procedures.

Providing general administrative support such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.

Assisting with data entry and maintaining electronic and paper filing systems.

Collaborating with other administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is a plus.

Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Professional and friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills.

Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and telephone systems.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Familiarity with basic laboratory terminology and procedures is preferred.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle occasional work outside regular office hours.
