Preschool Teacher
We are looking for an energetic, organized, confident professional that understands how important it is to have excellent attendance when working with young children and has a passion for teaching in our 2.5 - 3 year old room. We are looking for an individual who can maintain control of a preschool room while engaging children in learning activities fostering a FUN environment. This position requires a motivated educator and has the opportunity for growth in the company.
If selected for the position, you would be responsible for implementing Mother Goose Time curriculum and lesson plans with modifications made to accommodate the learning goals and abilities of individual children, managing and maintain the classroom environment and any other tasks that support the operation of the center.
Pay is based on experience, education, and Better Beginnings Qualifications. Our center is a Star 2 facility and will continue to progress through the Better Beginnings Star System. The management team will help set you up with valuable Professional Development opportunities to further your career.
Required Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED
-Ability to pass Criminal, Child Maltreatment and FBI background checks as well as random drug screenings
-reliable transportation and phone service
-Flexibility in scheduling and regards to job duties as they vary from day to day
-Excellent attendance record
Preferred Qualifications
-1 year prior experience working in a Quality Approved Early Learning Environment
-Foundation 1 or higher
