Holy Family Children’s Center, Half Moon Bay, has an opening for a part-time educator to join our Reggio inspired learning community.
Our warm, home-like learning environment serves children 3-5 years and is nestled in a beautiful, natural setting on the coast in Half Moon Bay. We are looking for energetic, passionate, creative, warm, friendly, nurturing and self -motivated teachers to join our Reggio inspired learning community.
The ideal candidate will have:
• 6-12 core units in ECE, AA or BA preferred.
• Knowledge and experience working in a play-based program;
• A passion for teaching and life-long learning;
• An openness for feedback and self- reflection;
• A commitment to developing a strong and dynamic learning community for children and parents;
• A team- player attitude and willingness to work collaboratively;
• An innovative, creative and open mind;
• A commitment to professional development.
• The ability to lift 40lbs and to physically be on the child’s level.
Compensation is based on education and experience. We offer life insurance, employer matching pension, 401K, sick and vacation and childcare benefit for part time employees. Medical, dental and vision for 30+ hours.
