The Swimming Swan, LLC is an aquatics management company that offers swim lessons, private lifeguard services, and lifeguard certification courses to the public. We are in need of a County/Pool Manager to conduct certification courses and help manage private lifeguard leads in Santa Clara County.

This is a seasonal*, full-time position with an anticipated two Lifeguard Certification Courses per month - roughly 20 hours each course - plus managerial hours during the week. Additional duties and some travel may be required.
*Full-time hours are available between May-October. Some Part-time hours will also be available during the off-season months.

Our staff includes lifeguards working for both private clients and at scheduled facilities. All are required to maintain their skills by participating in, at minimum, monthly in-services and recertification courses as needed.

PAY & BONUSES
Starting at $22 hourly
$150 hiring bonus
Gas compensation - $0.53 to the gallon after the first 10 miles of each trip

AS THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY MANAGER, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE:
Providing in-service training to LG staff.
Conducting Lifeguard certification courses each month at our contracted locations - including Killarney Farms and Gilroy, CA.
Managing private lifeguard & swim instructor leads in the greater Santa Clara County.
Working with other county managers to help oversee other contracted facilities (HOAs, etc) in the Bay Area
Helping with hiring/performing interviews for private LGs and swim instructors.
Employment is contingent upon the successful passing of a background/reference check and drug screening.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age with a High school Diploma or equivalent.
Current and valid ARC or equivalent certification including but not limited to: Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, AED.
Current Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) certification.
Current Lifeguard Instructor Trainer (LGI-T) certification preferred.
3+ year(s) lifeguard experience in a leadership role preferred.
Ability to pass pre-employment verbal skills, swim, and in-water skills tests.
Flexible schedule required.
Strong customer service background.
