Personal Care Aide
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide or Caregiver to join our team in providing exceptional care to our clients. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with their daily living activities, promoting their independence and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.
Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation.
Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervisor.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide, Caregiver, or similar role is preferred but not required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to provide compassionate and patient care.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to West Newton, PA.
Flexibility to work two days a week, any day except Wednesday.
Must be eligible to work legally in the United States.
