Payroll City in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for a Full-time Payroll Processor.

Duties:
� Help maintain proprietary payroll system and data including new hires, terminated employees, exemptions, direct deposit, benefits information, and all other payroll status changes.
� On boarding New Clients
� New hire reporting.
� Reconciling and filing 940, 941, SUI and other reports in multiple states.
� Research/address various payroll tax notices received from agencies.
� Help field payroll-related questions from employers, and direct them to where they can get the right answers.

Preferred Skills:
� Accounting and/or prior payroll experience.
� Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. You will be tested.
� Customer interaction and problem solving experience.
� High level communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
� Able to interact with a broad range of people and personalities.

Required Skills:
� Accounting experience
� Superior communication skills both verbal and written.
� Understanding of payroll calculations including 401K, garnishment orders, Insurance, vacation pay, etc.
� Typing accuracy. 10-key by touch. (Applicants will be tested). Detail oriented with error-free math data entry expertise.
� Must be highly organized, self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
� Able to learn Payroll Proprietary Software System quickly and adapt to the needs of team workloads.
� Computer literate with Expert knowledge and usage skills for Microsoft Office products.
� Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize and execute multiple concurrent activities under time constrained deadlines.
� Ability to "drill down" through information, sort priorities and able to find issues and resolve customer questions, payroll discrepancies, and problems.
� Advanced verbal and written diplomacy and problem-solving skills.

Position Details:
� Full Time 40 hours per week.
� Location - Colorado Springs, CO.
� Starting Salary - $18-$22/hr. (Depending upon experience)
