Parts Runner
California Materials, Inc. is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to add to our shop team as a Parts Runner. As the Parts Runner, you will play an integral role in keeping California Materials, Inc. and our four other companies functional and efficient. Picking up and delivering parts from local vendors. Helping Parts Technician as needed in the shop.
Requirements:
Driver’s License – Acceptable driving record
Time management skills
No prior experience
Must pass pre-employment drug test
Essential Functions:
Ability to walk and stand frequently throughout the day, bend, lift and carry up to 40lbs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to negotiate and to create positive relationships with internal and external customers
Ability to use computer, web-based systems and to enter data accurately and quickly
Ability to be positive while interacting in a busy, sometimes demanding work environment
Ability to tolerate an open shop environment, where heat or cold fluctuate, depending on time of day, as well as seasons
