Outside Sales Associate
Job description
S27 Alehouse & Brewery started as an idea and has grown into the only woman-owned and managed brewery and taproom in San Jose California. Open 7 days a week and the only brewery with live entertainment every weekend, we're looking to expand our outside sales team.
We produce beer with a focus on Belgian, French, and European styles alongside our award-winning smoothie sours and interpretations of trending styles.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for developing tap and retail sales accounts in the local market while formulating and realizing a long-term sales program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Aggressively develop tap and retail sales.
Retain, develop, and expand accounts and introduce new releases.
Generate brand awareness during special events, festivals, and sampling events.
Develop strong and deep personal relationships with key accounts to grow and expand the adoption of the S27 brand.
Complete daily administrative sales tracking duties.
Maintain and meet sales goals and budgets.
Other duties as assigned by your manager.
Required Qualifications:
Previous beverage and/or alcohol outsides sales experience.
Bachelor’s degree and prior experience in a sales position; prior beer sales experience preferred.
Knowledge of craft beer and the beer community at a local and national level.
Knowledge of non-American beer markets and trends preferred.
Strong oral communication skills.
Strong argumentative and persuasive skills are necessary to change and drive consumer trends in beer styles.
Proficiency with personal computers and cloud-based solutions for tracking sales and goals.
Cicerone or other Beer certification is strongly preferred.
Must be available to work nights and weekends and lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
Valid Driver's License with a good driving record, a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle, and the ability to drive to and from accounts continuously.
Must reside in the San Jose, Silicon Valley California area or be willing to relocate.
