Seek a polished and outgoing operations assistant to work at a professional and upbeat office in Newport Beach, CA. We provide the following products to our customers: sailing charters, sailboat sales/leases, sailing instruction, and Duffy electric boat rentals.

No boating experience is necessary for this position.

The operations assistant will support the business in two distinct capacities:

1.) office support

2.) customer service

Daily responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

OFFICE SUPPORT

Entering customer information into company database
Updating multiple work/boat calendars
Scheduling captains for charters and lessons
Making gift certificates
Filing and photocopying (and making packets)
Ordering supplies
CUSTOMER SERVICE

Responding to customer inquiries via telephone, email and website
Greeting customers and fitting children with life jackets
Assisting customers with filling out paperwork
Providing customers with an orientation of our Duffy boats (going over the harbor map and doing a boat orientation, which we would train you how to do)
Welcoming customers back from their rental
Setting up the boat before the next rental

Starting pay is $20 per hour plus gratuities.

Hours are *full time,* from 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm, with the days being Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon.
Requirements:

At least one (1) year work experience
Computer proficient in MS Word and Excel
MAC proficient
Apple Mail or Outlook proficient
AA or BA degree


Salary: $20.00 per hour
