Nanny

CHATHAM, MA (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED): Cape Cod family searching for an experienced, warm, and caring LIVE-IN OR LIVE-OUT, FULL-TIME NANNY/MANNY for their daughter (15 months). They are hopeful that a second child will be joining them in the next year or so as well! Both parents work from home with demanding schedules, so someone with some flexibility who is a self-starter will do well in this role. 

Their daughter is described as social, intellectual, and curious. Daily activities should involve reading, age-appropriate learning, fun, and creativity. A candidate with a background in Early Childhood Development would be ideal. Swimming with their child and being able to drive her to points of interest would be nice but is not a hard requirement. A family car can be provided if the candidate is willing and able to drive. 

The duties will include but are not limited to full care for the child, light housekeeping as it pertains to the child (they have weekly housekeeping), light laundry, and light meal prep as it relates to the child. The schedule is Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm; some flexibility may be needed but weekend hours and or travel is not required. Some days their daughter will nap but not always; the schedule can be discussed with the parents. 

The family lives in a small seaside village on Cape Cod. They are within walking distance to downtown Chatham, parks, and beaches. If choosing a live-in position, a private bedroom and bathroom will be provided. Parking is available at their home. They do have one large dog, a Labradoodle, but due to sensitivities, interaction and care for the dog will be separate from this role.

Start date is 11/01/23. Pay is $25-$28, depending upon experience. All vaccinations are required. Paid sick days and paid vacation will be included.
