A fun-loving and global family based in the Bay Area is seeking two nannies to join their bustling family team!
Location: Atherton, CA
Ages of children: 8 and 6.5 years old
Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the perfect fit!
Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40-50 hours per week. Candidates can expect to work 4 days per week and 10+ hours per shift, with two consecutive days off guaranteed. Working hours will fall between 7am-8pm. Additional hours for evenings and travel will be asked in advance and appreciated, and the family is open to creating a mutually beneficial schedule for both all parties!
Compensation: The family is offering $40-45/hour based on the 40-50 hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $73-128k/year depending on experience and the agreed-upon schedule. The family may be open to candidates seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, and relocation assistance based on the candidate’s need and the full benefits package. The family will provide a vehicle for professional use.
Live-in/Live-out: Flexible to live-in or live-out. If live-in, the family will provide a private space on a separate floor of their home for one or both nannies. This space includes two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a private entrance. If live-out, the family may be open to providing a housing stipend.
Other Notes: The family is excited to be adding two nannies to their team each with unique skill sets! Candidates can expect to collaborate with each other and tag team as needed to ensure the household dynamic is running smoothly.

This active and social family describes their home as being full of personality! Their 8-year-old son loves basketball, soccer, cricket, music, chess, and movies. Their 6-year-old daughter loves art, writing, gymnastics, music, dance, and performing arts. Both kids are described by their parents as being well-adjusted with a great sense of humor, and they attend a local elementary school near their home. Mom and Dad place a high value on education, and would love to work with candidates who bring a professional and firm-yet-fair approach to their care!
This is a busy home with many moving pieces! Parents are dual-career professionals, so candidates who enjoy working in a dynamic home and traveling frequently will enjoy this role. The family spends around 10 weeks each year traveling to destinations like India, England, France, Yellowstone, and the Caribbean, and are excited for their nannies to join them! This is a fully-staffed home environment, including housekeepers, a chef, a co-nanny, and other staff. Someone who is excited to work on a warm family team, and who brings a confident approach to care will be a great fit!

Responsibilities include supporting morning and after-school routines, homework help, driving to and from activities, as well as child-related meal preparation, laundry, tidying, and organization. Candidates must be able to travel with the family and be able to maintain organization, routines, and task management both at home and while traveling. Candidates who have experience working in fully-staffed home environments and who enjoy team collaboration will be appreciated!
This candidate will be responsible for all child-related inventory management and will collaborate with the family’s other nanny on calendar and activity management!
Educationally Minded Nanny:
This position is ideal for a candidate who loves working with early elementary-aged children and brings a professional and educational bend to their role. Someone who can encourage their children academically and act as the go-to for all things academic will be a great fit for this family!
Responsibilities include supporting morning and after-school routines, homework help, driving to and from activities, as well as child-related meal preparation, laundry, tidying, and organization. Candidates must be able to travel with the family and be able to maintain organization, routines, and task management both at home and while traveling. Candidates who have experience working in fully-staffed home environments and who enjoy team collaboration will be appreciated!
This candidate will also focus on providing support with managing tutors, activity and calendar management, and supporting their children’s academic interests and needs!
Qualifications:
3 years of professional childcare experience
Valid driver’s license and passport
Knowledge and experience with early elementary and elementary-age children
Experience working on a team or in a fully-staffed home
Experience traveling with families and children
Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
