Single, physician mom who recently relocated to Anchorage, Alaska from Arizona is seeking a FULL-TIME NANNY for her 8-year-old son. He is silly, intelligent, curious and can be a little shy at first.  Mom works 10-15 12-hour shifts per month, equating to between 130-175 hours per month. Schedule is variable and includes day shifts and night shifts.  Nanny can expect to have almost a week off at a time throughout each month. Schedule will include some weekends each month. Schedule will be provided a couple months in advance. Nanny must be RESPONSIBLE, SELF-STARTER, INDUSTRIOUS, FLEXIBLE, RELIABLE and CREATIVE. Ideal candidate will be LIVE OUT.  Nanny is also welcomed to live in temporarily while seeking their own housing. Living accommodations consist of a private bedroom and bathroom. Family will be renting a condo during the first 6 months and then plans to move into a larger home. They are willing to provide up to $2000 in relocation assistance for the right candidate so long as they are able to guarantee a minimum of a 1-year commitment. Child will be in school from approximately 8am-3pm Monday-Friday. Duties including taking him to and from school and activities, homework help (2nd grade), light cleaning, setting up playdates and activities, grocery shopping and meal prep for the child. They seek a nanny who is reliable, dependable, interactive, caring and engaging. Someone who is kind, young at heart and truly enjoys being with children and supporting their development. Benefits include paid sick days and vacation. Federal holidays will be compensated extra if required to work (1/3-1/4 of federal holidays). Pay is $25/hour, depending on experience and skill-set. Start date is flexible, but preferably by December 1.
