A warm and loving family of three based in Princeton, NJ is seeking a kind, nurturing, and proactive nanny to join them in caring for their joyful toddler!
Location: Princeton, NJ
Age of child: Almost 2 years old
Start Date: September 1st or as soon as they find the right fit!
Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40-45 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 10:30am to 6:30pm. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and occasional travel will be asked in advance and appreciated!
Compensation and benefits: The family is offering $30-35+/hour based on the 40-45 hour/week schedule, in addition to benefits like a healthcare stipend, PTO, and relocation assistance including the opportunity for temporary housing for a relocation candidate, resulting in a full compensation package in the $70-90+k/year range for the perfect applicant.
Live-in/Live-Out: Live-out.
Daily environment:
These kind-hearted first-time parents are enjoying the sweetness of the first years with their daughter who is almost 2! In their free time, they enjoy spending time together traveling, going on long walks in their neighborhood, and enjoy getting active with everything from rock climbing to yoga!
Their daughter is curious and energetic and has a smile for everyone she meets. Besides creating joy and gifting smiles, she enjoys reading books and having new experiences. She attends a local Montessori school in-person on Monday through Friday from 8:30am – noon.
The family will be excited to hire a candidate who is eager to partner with them to help their daughter develop into an independent, creative, and thoughtful child!
Driving is required and the family is happy to offer mileage reimbursement or provide a vehicle for professional use, depending on the candidate’s need.
Ideal candidate:
This position is ideal for a candidate who is warm, patient, professional, kind, naturally organized, and brings a proactive and creative approach to their care! Someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about spending time with little children, and creating enriching and nurturing activities and environments, will thrive in this role for years to come.
A candidate would be responsible for tackling child meal prep and child-related household tasks such as laundry and tidying, in addition to daily pick-up from school, so a safe driver is key! An openness to the occasional family assisting tasks such as grocery shopping or running errands would be greatly valued.
Willing to work closely with parents to ensure the best care for their daughter
While not a requirement, the family would love to work with a candidate who brings a childhood development background or teaching experience to the role! Most importantly, they would appreciate someone who can keep their daughter engaged and cultivate her natural curiosity about the world.
Must Haves:
At least 3 years of professional, full-time childcare experience
Valid driver’s license
Valid passport
Proven experience with toddlers through Pre-K-aged children with strong knowledge of developmental milestones
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to starting date in accordance with applicable laws
