Montessori Elementary Guide

Casa de Paz is seeking a certified (or in training) Montessori Elementary Guide to join our team immediately!

We are eager to find a candidate with a strong understanding of children in the “second plane of development”, who will find joy in assisting students through their school journey and immerse themselves in the CdP community. Casa de Paz can provide training and sponsorship for applicants still seeking accreditation. This position would be eligible for a salary increase the following school year. Education:
Associate degree or higher

Requirements:
AMI diploma (or in training), and must pass criminal background check

Responsibilities:
- Implement the Montessori philosophy and curriculum in a multi-age environment

- Plan and carry out a variety of appropriate instructional strategies, activities, and materials that reflect an understanding of the needs and learning styles of the students

- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social and emotional development of the students

- Establish and maintain open and effective communication with parents, students, administration and teachers
