Mobile Tire Technician
TreadLogic is looking for a full time, self-motivated Mobile Tire Technician to work in a state of the art, fully equipped Mobile Tire Van. This position requires a significant amount of customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess technical skills, but also a high level of communication skills. Job Responsibilities:
Understanding and perform various methods and techniques for mounting all sizes of tires, balancing tires, and tire repair.
Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools, including tire changer and balancer
Perform equipment or tire inspections
Maintain records of time, expenses, and materials
Perform other related duties as assigned
Help maintain cleanliness and maintenance of work vehicles
Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
Safely operate company vehicles
Communicate professionally with customers
Support other Mobile Service technicians as needed
Daily regional traveling including Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Catalina Foothills, Saddlebrook, Green Valley and Vail
Participates in training as required
Low level marketing
Candidate Requirements:
Knowledge of methods and techniques in the maintenance, repair and installation of tires and rims.
Trade school training/TIA certification a plus but not required. We would train the right candidate.
Possess a high level of tire sizing and performance specifications of tires and their application
Has excellent oral and written communication skills
Willing to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public and Vendors
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and a dynamic work environment
Must be comfortable and capable of operating a large service vehicle or towing a trailer
Willing to follow all safety procedures and company policy and procedure manual
Possess problem solving skills and ability to apply mechanical and technical knowledge to create solutions.
Reliable
Must be a self-starter, willing to take the initiative and work without direct supervision.
Able and willing to work in outdoor environment year-round.
Lift 60+ lbs. on a regular basis
Must be 21 or older and have a valid AZ drivers license
Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
